Stop Motion workshop
From September to December 2018, I took part in a Stop Motion workshop, mentored by Sonia Estévez. During this course, we have practiced our skills with different exercises, materials and techniques. Even if we had class once a week for two hours, we even were able to create a final project, a Christmas gig.
After taking a look to the fundamentals, which I could totally apply from what I already knew about traditional and 3D animation, we got to animate little pieces each day.
During the month of December, we worked in our final project, the Christmas gig. We started by writing the story. After that, made different teams to work in the background and character. I was part of the background design and title sequence. All of us animated a bit of the gig, and for the resources and time we had, 9 people working for 6 hours in total; it's a nice result.
